Advantages: Great plot, really gets you thinking! Disadvantages: Avoid if you're squeamish some parts are quite graphic
...details, the main stars in fight club are the ever lovely Brad Pitt(may incourage some girlies to watch it at the very least!) who gives an outstanding (as always) performance as the off the rails insomniac Tyler Durden who appears out of the blue to befriend Ed Norton/Jack(also narrates) - portrayed as abit of a lost sole with no direction ,no friends, no life really.
We are shown his life briefly at the beginning and how he comes to meet Tyler ... ...project they setup together called fight club a secret members only group for ordinary men who want to fight just for fun it seems.Jack transforms throughout the film from a hapless weed into quite a tough strong minded guy abit more like Tyler.
The film is full of twists and turns( you could easily watch it twice and pick up on things you missed first time round) and has one major twist at the end which I certainly won't spoil for you but I will ...

Advantages: Mind Tripping Disadvantages: Too Much Blood
...don't particularly like watching people fight for the fun of it but the most disturbing thing about the film was the way that they made the fighting seem crude. At points in the film I winced, especially when one of the chararcters was talking about how much blood you could swallow before you were sick. Apart from that the film constantly has your brain in gear always thinking about what's happening next while still trying to digest what just happened. ... ...that doesn't mind watching many fight scenes, seeing lots of blood and is good at guessing things before they happen.
