Evita (DVD)

Evita is very well done, Madonna is brilliant in it, shows her music at its best and her acting was excellent. She hasn't always been good at acting but this made her shine through. Jimmy Nail is great really looks the part. Antonio Bandaras is really good at playing the working class man in Argintina. Review of Evita (DVD)

...is based or heard about Evita from anywhere else apart from this film but Madonna is always Madonna.She has too much of a natural presence for her to beome anyone else.She may accept competently but she is always Madonna. The singing in this film was good but I couldn't cope with the fact that all the film was sung.Antonio Banderas made the film better everytime he was in it but unfortunately this wasn't very often. The Story was alright after all ...
...the film had little action and was just people complaing about Evita. Much as I was after watching this. The singing ws good the songs weren't. Don't see this as it is a long waste of time basically the storyline is poor girl becomes famous. Girl is loved by most.Then she dies.Now put a tune to it and you've got your movie.A below average film which disappoints.
