Elvis made television and entertainment history as this was the first-ever live concert broadcast over satellite, reaching in excess of one billion people worldwide including Japan and Australia. Though the US has to wait until April 4th to see a somewhat edited version of the concert. This release boasts remastered picture and sound and includes the uncut rehearsal concert, plus hours of rarely seen archive footage.

I recieved this DVD for my birthday and i think that it is excellent. This dvd has 3 different shows, one of them is a rehearsal video and the second is an international video, and the third is an american special. I would recomend this dvd to anybody that is an elvis fan.

Advantages: Great show and great dvd set with many features and very well presented.
Disadvantages: None at all

On the 14th January 1973, Elvis Presley gave a show at the Honolulu International Centre (in aid of the 'Kui Lee Cancer Fund', that would be beamed around the world, via satelite. It waws seen by nearly one and a half BILLION people. The show in which Elvis threw his 1000$ belt into the crowd.
