Advantages: good saga Disadvantages: could be better
OPENING
This is about The Saiyan Saga, of the DragonBall Z franchise. There are loads of battles and loads of characters in this saga, and ill talk about it all further in the review, In the end ill review all of the saga's and then ill be known as the DBZ Guy lol! Ill also be doing stuff about DragonBall GT (the second series). I watch this on Toonami on ntl satalite on channel 903. WHAT ARE SAIYANS?
The Saiyans are a different race, they look ... ...hair does not grow, and when the moon is full, if they look at it, they go Oozaro and turn into a giant ape monster. If you want more info on the Saiyans, check out my Bardok review, that will give you all the info you need. Goku (the main character) is a Saiyan, and he is very powerful. There is a legend that when you get powerful enough, you will turn into a Super Saiyan. When your hair turns gold and your power goes past the limit.

Advantages: Great 1st anime Disadvantages: Bit dated, not for everyone
...famous anime ever. Dragon ball Z first graced the screens in the east nearly 20 years ago. It's the sequel to the popular anime and manga series "dragon ball" and has increased on what was already a huge cult following. When we finally received it over here in the UK it wasn't known what the reception would be. It has however proved to be the platform on which all other anime stands. It is very different to anything we had over here and was welcomed ... ...hero has grown up since dragon ball. He now has a son called Gohan! It is when Gohan is kidnapped that the story starts. An evil mysterious man named Raditz takes Gohan and easily incapacitates Goku. Even stranger is that he claims to be from another planet and refers to Goku as his brother. After recovering Goku travels to where his brother is and fights him with the help on an old rival Piccolo. This is just a taster of what proves to be a fascinating ...

...the first saga of the dragon ball z series, and it is a very good beginning. I give this a 3 star, because there are some other sagas that are much better. I reccomend people to watch this on Toonami at 9pm every day. The episodes go on for 20-30mins, depending if there are adverts during the epsidodes. There are also films of DragonBall Z, which are all great. ...
