Advantages: seeing this birth of the series Disadvantages: none that I can think of
...The name thought of was Doctor Who because nobody knew who he was or where he came from.
In July David Whittaker was hired as writer for the show and is asked to make a pilot.
A producer is found in Verity Lambert who is also from ABC, she really wants this to go ahead and starts to choose the actors.
William Hartnell is cast as the doctor having acted a lot before and who she thought had the role when she saw him on TV,

Advantages: Very good, exciting and interesting Disadvantages: some special effects needed
Yes, I really liked this Doctor Who DVD. This is because it showed how the longest running science fiction tv series began. William Hartnell was fantastic at being The Doctor as he really portrayed him well as being the strange mysterious time traveller from outer space. I loved the first ever scene of the first ever episode where it was set in a mysterious scrapyard and slowly revealed the Tardis which was a spaceship. I liked the doctor's companions ...
