Advantages: Well paced, Great dialogue, Many good performances Disadvantages: May be too gruesome for some
...was the last episode of Doctor Who's 22nd season, just before the show was to be put on hold for 18 months. The first break of it's continuous run since it started in 1963, caused by unease amongst BBC executives who thought the show had become too violent. Perhaps it is fitting that Revelation of the Daleks is one of the darkest and most gruesome stories in that season and possibly the show's entire history.

When most people think of DOCTOR WHO I am sure the first thing that pops into there heads is the doctors brilliant enemy the mighty DALEKS and to be truthful this was the first thing that attracted me to this story because I love everything about them, forget the cylons from battle star galactica and the borg from startrek the daleks were and always will never truly be destroyed what ever happens in the stories.

Advantages: Peri, Davros and the dark horror element. Disadvantages: Some hammy acting.
I have found this story to be one of the most difficult to rate in the Dr Who series. The storyline is very good. An almost macabre, black comedy, coupled with some irritating characters. Take the story as a whole and it reads very favourably. The Tardis lands on Necros, the home of Tranquil Repose, a funeral home for the galaxy's richest people.
