Peter Davison’s first last, and therefore, unsurprisingly, only encounter with the Daleks is quite simply, a disappointment. This is probably the best Davison story, up there with Caves of Androzani, Enligthenment and Earthshock. The Daleks are excellent, Terry Molloy takes over the role of Davros with gusto. The regulars are on top form especially Peter Davison and Janet Fielding though Mark Strickson does not have that much to do.
