...is a story memorable to Doctor Who fans for being the one that killed off Adric, and how they will cheer at that moment. But there’s a lot more to recommend this story than the death of a particularly annoying companion. ...builds tension nicely as the Doctor and companions Nyssa, Tegan and Adric arrive amidst a military expedition into caves on Earth. The army are trying to recover a team of archeologists who have seemingly vanished while exploring a new system of caverns. ...of all the times the Doctor sits down. The isolated music score IS welcome, as are the gallerys and trivia tidbits. The commentary is again short of the mark when it comes to engaging. The TARDIS crew all appear here, yes, that means Matthew Waterhouse too. There is a 10 minute 'Did You See' feature on Who which is great nostalgic fun...more so than the story. An Easter Egg - find it yourself, and a claymation piece of absurdity labelled 'Episode ...
