...legend that is Peter Kay, Dave Spikey is a great upholder of cheeky northern humour and a sure-fire hit. Dave's first stand-up outing since rising in popularity as Jerry in C4's Phoenix Nights is a successful one. The observational humour we can all relate to abounds, made funnier with Dave's own collection of bizarre obituaries, and his own tales of 'Dobbers' and duck cabaret (yes, that's what I thought). An excellent comic and his first DVD, Most people will recognise him from Phoenix Nights (Jerry St.Clair) or '8 Out of 10 Cats' on Channel 4. The man is a genius! Personally I find him funnier than Peter Kay (this is the man who found him). He too has excellent observational skills at the world around us. Since watching this DVD I find myself reading certain parts of the news paper and giggling non-stop to myself (BUY IT TO UNDERSTAND!) Only downside ...
