Advantages: What did Marlone Brando like when he was young Disadvantages: Poor story for D-Day: 6th June
I think this double pack edition of D-Day and The Young Lions is only worth buying but only for The Young Lions. The DVD comes with no special features, no card inlay to tell you about the movies or anything else remotely resembling information except what is on the cover. But at around £6 in the shops what do you expect. I can't I rave about either film because they are not classics and both are stories set in the second world war but neither of ... ...- Marlon Brando - as younger, fitter model compared to his later movies (Godfather, and Apocalypse Now).
This film is very much the better out of the two - it has a story line vaguely linked to the second world war and there are a few more action scene (and more realistic than D-Day). Its a B&W film but this doesn't matter because we get to see Brando do some fine acting in this film - I think it was his first 'big movie' or certainly one of the ...
