Advantages: A film for kids, wonderful colours, great story Disadvantages: Not really one for the adults.
Curious George is a cheeky little monkey with an big grin and a knack of getting himself into trouble with the other animals because of his curiosity. They say Curiosity killed the cat, well if George isn't careful any number of animals on the jungle where he lives may just do the same to him!

Curious George is based on the books by Margaret and H.A Rey (look at the name of the ship Ted sails to Africa in!) and is a traditional, old style 2d animated film aimed squarely at the kids. "Curious George" is as much a part of an American's ... ...old series of picture books, director Matthew O'Callaghan sticks to the spirit of the original illustrations. So everything has a simplified art deco feel to it. Characters feel like those in "Belleville Rendezvous", all top-heavy frames with beaky noses and big dark eyes, adding to the retro feel. With this reminder of his failure, Ted leaves a message for the museum's owner, that his only discovery was a real-life monkey. When he returns to work he finds the museum inundated with manic interest from the whole city eagerly awaiting the exhibition of Ted's monkey, who they have been led to believe is an extraordinary discovery ...
