Advantages: Superb graphics, cast, characters and plots Disadvantages: The dark side?
CSI hit our TV screens in 2000 and became a massive hit from the very first show. Since then it has gone from strength to strength and is now into well into its tenth series. CSI has also spawned two similar crime investigative series: CSI New York and CSI Miami and the merchandise market for the series’ together include video games, board games, clothing and figurines. The original and therefore longest running series, the original CSI, sometimes ... ...I think it’s safe to say most peoples, favourite. Each CSI series can be purchased in one complete box-set but it is more common to find them sold in the split two DVD box-sets. This review is for the box-set series 5.2 and therefore contains, over three discs the final thirteen episodes of the 25 episode long fifth series.

Advantages: The different scenarios and cast Disadvantages: Some of the effects and episodes aren't for everyone
CSI Vegas is the original with CSI Miami and CSI New York being spin-offs from this. I haven't seen CSI New York but I definately prefer Vegas to Miami, I find the characters are more likeable in this one. The characters continue on from Season 5 Volume 1 with:
Gil Grissom - supervisor of 'Graveyard' shift.
Catherine Willows - supervisor of 'swing' shift
Nick Stokes - One of Catherine's team. Is the victim in the two-parter.
Warrick Brown - One ... ...suspended in 1st episode after conflicting with Catherine when on loan to help 'swing' shift team. Who later opens up to Grissom about her past.
Greg Sanders - Newly qualified CSI, after originally being the DNA guy.
Sofia Curtis - Leaves the team in the 2nd episode of the volume because of being demoted!
Volume 2 consists of 13 episodes divided between 3 discs, which includes the two parter at the end of season 5. The two parter, called Grave ...
