Advantages: Some realistic gore and a cute dog. Disadvantages: Fails to scare, weak characterisation and is too long at 80 minutes
...reading some promising reviews about Creep around the time of its release. I remember thinking that this film had the potential to be chilling, as many people including myself have a fear of being stuck all alone in the dark and being freaked out by sounds around you. At the beginning of this film I could sympathize with Kate and feel her fear of being all alone, and the emotions she must have felt when another train pulled into the station. So then ... ...to watch. While Creep had so much potential it failed to deliver the goods in most areas, so therefore I don’t recommend you buy this film. If you do want to see it then I suggest you rent it out, or better still just wait until it comes on the tele and if you’ve got nothing better to do then give it a go. Creep was released on DVD in 2004 and is available at Amazon for £5.97, or new & used from the marketplace starting at £1.99. ...

Advantages: Great setting | Nice start Disadvantages: Doesn't last | Creep isn't creepy
...the place. So does Creep succeed or has it missed the last train? Party girl Kate is about to have a rough night. Stuck at a booze up that's going nowhere other than advances from serial womanizer Guy (Jeremy Sheffield) she decides what any sane woman would do, go to another party in the hope of having sex with George Clooney. Not wanting to keep George waiting by getting a taxi she decides to head down to the Underground. Unfortunately she dozes ... ...One of the huge advantages Creep has is its setting. The London Underground isn't the nicest of places to be in the day let alone when you're on your own there at night. Then there are all the myths about the 'sewer people' that live down there and kidnap people to have a quick snack. It all makes for lovely horror setting material, dark, dank and with a past. It also helps to set it in a place where many people go to, not an old mansion on top of ...

Advantages: Slightly different to your usual slasher film Disadvantages: Didn't go into enough detail about the more interesting aspects of the plot
OK this was never going to be amazing. I didn't get to see it at the cinema as I'm sure there were probably better films out at the time. I bought this DVD because its Halloween weekend, I'm too old to go Trick or Treating and I wanted a cheap, uncomplicated throw away horror. I got what I wanted.
The film begins in the sewer system. Two men, one who seems to have a strange love for, erm, tunnels and the other who is on community service are wondering ... ...The tunnel lover is obviously extremely excited to come across an opening to a tunnel that he hasn't been down in his twenty years on the job. Now this is a slasher film so of course he goes down the dark tunnel ALONE. George, the guy on community service (Vas Blackwood - Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels), has to go in after him and the film begins.
Our 'heroine' is Kate (Franka Potente - Bourne Identity / Blow), the selfish rich girl who is on ...

Advantages: It's only 75-minutes Disadvantages: It's lame, poorly executed, average extras
...paper I've no doubt that Creep sounded like a decent idea that would get people into the cinema. But the final product is executed poorly and must go down as an opportunity missed.
Kate is a woman who leaves a party on a quest to meet George Clooney at a club in London. She makes her journey across the city by taking the London underground. Sadly the affects of alcohol send her to sleep on the platform. She awakes to find the place deserted, the ... ...nightmare.
The thing with Creep is that it's unbelievably stupid and at times amateurish. For a horror film it's pretty devoid of any real scares. Instead it relies on throwing in some nasty gore that just comes across as unpleasant and unnecessary. This is also a film doesn't offer anything new. The idea of being trapped in the underground with a crazed killer could have given some stellar moments of horror. But there is none of this, without credits ...

Advantages: great story, original concept, Disadvantages: acting isnt fantastic
...UK theatrical trailer. Creep is currently available for £4.99 at HMV. All in all, a good horror film. It does what it's meant to; it scares! The actors are rubbish but luckily enough their parts don't demand much acting, they all succeed in looking petrified which is really the only emotion needed in this film. A good story, an original concept and the 'creep' will strangely get the watchers sympathy once you understand his background and the hell ...

Advantages: It's a British film! Disadvantages: the film ...
...that I was begging the Creep to kill her and get her off my screen.
The attempt by Smith to give the Creep a back story was bizarre. I can see what they were getting at, but it just didn't come off - and don't even get me started on the 'operating theatre' scene. Ok then, do ... Horror films are renowned for their misogyny, but this scene really takes the biscuit. There is no reason for it - chop her head off or something - but this? I was actually ... ...like my horror films!). There were a couple of things I liked. I do like cinema verite style in films - to give it a sense of realism - there was some good examples of this, especially with some classic hand held camera work running down corridors - loving the use of vanishing points. There was also a sense of the film being over-exposed and over-saturated at points - this detracted from the realism but worked in places.
I was just simply disappointed. ...

Advantages: British, good plot. Disadvantages: Lacked quite alot.
...real reason for why The Creep is as an 18.
Kate spends the night fighting against the creep to keep her life, meeting a homeless couple and their dog, and the man who lasts with her, but is beaten just before the end. The ending scenes to creep, i thought were very good. Battered, bleeding, bruised and scarred Kate sits down in the underground after the horrific night, to find its morning, with people carelessly passing her. None of them knowing ... ...new. Already two years after creep was released, horror has developed a lot and become way more gory, making people squirm and very very scared, even throw up. Creep is already getting close to being left behind, but that is not the creators fault.

Today, on a short trip to Bristol Cribs Causeway ( The Mall ) with a short list of one DVD to buy...Now when i arrived at HMV, there was a little deal going on, 3 for £20, and i though to myself, 1 DVD for £7.99 or 3 for £20. So, my original list was Creep, and i came out of the shop with Creep, House of Wax and the Bridget Jones's Diary box set *smiles gleefully* - So to cut a long story short, im watching "creep" ... ...sure what i hell is happening, its quite crazy, and unexplainable...

Basically, this German woman wants to go and chat up George Clooney and goes for the last underground train because her friend forget to tell her she was leaving - arriving at the underground station she meets some homeless people who end up fighting for their lives literally - the German woman is not actually called the German woman of course, her name is Kate. ...

The making of creep – featurette
Alternate beginning and alternate ending.
Over all this movie could be classed as no better than alright. My son rated it highly so maybe it is more appealing to people his age (mid thirties) than to people my age (mid sixties). It certainly had its share of scares and at times had the potential to burst into a quite decent movie but it never really did. I prefer my horrors to be about real people committing ... ...so perhaps that had a lot to do with me not liking the movie as much as my son did too.
I would think that if you like your horror sc-fi then you will enjoy this movie otherwise you will probably side with my thinking that it was ok but no where near the best you have seen. I will be saying that I recommend to others below but I will be recommending the movie to those I have mentioned rather than to everyone!

...live?) lots of running away, creep finally killed in a crap death scene & an even worse ending where Kate makes it the platform & people start coming in to catch a train (the platform where she started!) so you see she's been there all night! there are too many plot holes and inconsistencies to point them all out. I had seen the trailer for this film at the cinema and thought...this can be very good, but it can also be so scary that I'm not going to enjoy it. (I like horror films but they kind of work too well on me, too scary)...Anyway, when my boyfriend came back with the dvd I plucked the courage to watch it with him....The first 15 minutes, I thought: "that's ll be ok, it's not too scary"...then the journey began...
A little bit about the film:
Made ... ...The main character is Kate played by Franka Potente (also in the Bourne Identity / Supremacy).
The main story is about Kate, a 20 something leaving a party by metro and suddenly realising she fell asleep, and is now trapped there. Then, you've guessed it...there is a killer pursuing her...
The plot is not that original (killer running after his victim), although there is a little more depth concerning the killer which made it a little bit different ...

Advantages: Good 'Slasher' Type Horror Disadvantages: Goes a bit weird towards the end
I saw the trailer for this and thought that looks good, I love my horror films and can usually pick out the good ones.
I talked with friends who has seen it and they said it wasnt upto much, so I gave it a miss at the cinema.
Got it out on DVD last week- 1 word- Fantastic!
Set on teh London underground, this bring the film home and relates it to an experience a lot of people have had at some time or another, on a quiet tube train.
From teh word ... ...a great storyline, just fright and neccessary gore, if you liked Jeepes Creepers you should love this.
I wont spoil the story or give it away by saying it get a little weird towards the end which i feel spoilt the film which I was enjoying.
Overall , if you like some, mindless horror its well worth a watch, wouldnt buy it though. ...

Advantages: On the edge of your seat Disadvantages: Didnt seem long enough
Ive always liked horror films but ive found that recently the so called horror films havent been scary just gory.
The story of the film is a lady is out at on a boring party in London and has been invited to another party with which she decides to attend. She goes to catch the last tube and has a few minutes to wait until the last train and dozes off and when she awakes the last train has gone. She soon realizes that she is trapped in the tube station.....but ... ...well and kept me on the edge of my seat. The way it was filmed in the darkness of the tube added an edge to the film in general and made it very spooky. I tried to imagine being trapped in the tube on my own is eery enough let alone a freak of nature after me as well. Really recommend it but be careful dont fall asleep on the tube station you may not come out!!!!!!! ...
