...is fair to say that Crank doesn't seem to have anything that even remotely resembles a plot of any description. Part of the reason for this seems to be that the two men behind this film are debutant Directors and writers. The duo of Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine have been credited for both roles, although I can imagine the writing took them about 5 minutes in the pub over a couple of pints. I initially rented this DVD as I was quite a bit fan of Jason Statham and I'm still not quite sure if the film was any good or not. The basic plot of the film revolves around "Chev Chelios" (Jason Statham), a Cockney hit man, in America, who has "Chinese" poison injected into his veins which means that he will die as soon as his heart rate drops below a certain rate. I had heard big things about this film and loved the trailer so when I saw this cheap in Asda the other day at around the £4 mark, I decided to get it being a big fan of Statham.
