== Introduction ==
When this film was advertised on TV, the words my 13 year old brother used were “that looks rubbish”, myself, I thought it looked quite good. I usually love animated films, and I loved the ... ...had nothing to do with Coraline as far as credits are concerned, though I cannot say he didn’t do some art work behind the scenes as I wouldn’t know. So just to clear things up, Tim Burton is nothing to do with this film! :) So anyway, I decided to watch this film on Movies on Demand last night with my husband, I had heard it was a little scary, and that although it had been widely acclaimed, it wasn’t really suitable for young children as it did ...

Advantages: good voice acting, amazing animation Disadvantages: a bit scary for little kids.
When Coraline first came to our cinema screens I was looking forward to watching it, until my mum, step dad and sisters told me it wasn't very good. I am quite easily influenced when it comes to films so I decided to steer clear of it despite my boyfriend saying 'Noo, you're really going to like it!' - as I'm a fan of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "James and the Giant Peach" - none the same but with some amazing animation and a bit of a spooky ... ...dogs.

Advantages: great story and in 3D! Disadvantages: None
Coraline was released in the cinema earlier this year and was a movie I thoroughly enjoyed, so I was eagerly anticipating its release on dvd. The film came out on dvd in early October and I was pleasantly surprised that both the 2 and 3D versions were made available, as the 3D version in the cinema was excellent. For the 3D version a set of 4 3D glasses are included in the DVD pack. It has a PG certificate and runs for 110 minutes. According to the ... ...storyline

Due to the move and settling in her parents are extremely busy and don’t have much time for Coraline. Feeling ignored Coraline sets off to explore the new house and garden. In the garden she meets a young boy called Wybee, to whom she takes an instant disliking. Wybee later pops ...

Advantages: Great Story, Great Characters, Good Twist Disadvantages: Main Song is irritatingly catchy, Little replay value
Coraline is a film that can be enjoyed by all ages and makes you think about what you are watching to the very end.
Coraline, an imaginative girl with a nack for exploration, moves away from her great life in the city and moves into a small set of apartments beside a forest where only a few residents reside. Within the area she meets many weird and wonderful characters that include: Wybie, the only other child and weird boy who is shy and has no ... ...real thing each loving of Coraline and only wanting to please her, but no-one believes her. Then on one trip to the other world, she discovers a secret and things aren’t all that they seem in this miracle world.
The film is very well written and it leads you along the plot, without ever giving away the twist. It just seems like an enjoyable adventure where a young girl gets a fantasy world where everything is perfect, then it suddenly takes a very ...
