Cool Runnings is one of the Disney films I can watch over and over again. It has earned it’s place on the video shelf and will have it’s place on the DVD rack as soon as I come across it. I live in a City and it took it’s time to get it’s play here so I had to go to a nearby town to watch it. And it was worth it. ...production of this film that Cool Runnings fans would love to see/share with the cast/crew. Even if there wasn't it would be a perfect opportunity for fans to find out the real story about the real Jamaican Bobsled team. It does contain a option for subtitles but even those I think arent that accurate to the exact script. Especially when it comes to the songs in the soundtrack. I had heard of this film by a lot of people and I have heard that it is very funny but I didn't think that it would be really funny and so I didn't make an effort to watch it. In my opinion, this is the greatest Disney film of all time! A true story which sounds so implausible in itself that it makes you laugh to think of it. “Who would have thought, a Jamaican Bobsled team?” The film features a cast of virtually unknown black actors and is initially set on the tropical island before moving to the freezing temperatures of Calgary. Cool Runnings is a great light hearted comedy for the whole family. It follows the story of four Jamaican guys who are unhappy with their lives and the jobs they have on the island.
