There's action, blood, adventure, and a whole lot of excitement. You see Conan becoming a man and then hunting down the man who killed him family and slaughtered his village. There is tons of hard hitting and brutal action to keep even the most blood thirsty happy and the plot which centered around Conan growing to manhood and eventually gaining revenge for the sins committed against him is most satisfying. ... After watching the film I felt thoroughly enjoyed as it had everything a film needs. It had a hard hitting weel developed character which was Conan. We see him from the age of 5 developing into a 20 year old man and being taught the ways of the sword. Then remembering his fathers death he finds his families sword and searches for the banner of the band who murdered his parents. No prizes for guessing the level that "Conan the Barbarian" works on. Arnold stars as a bloke with big muscles and a sword who gets into fights with people. There's a smattering of magic and a revenge plot and that's about it, really. Whether you'll like the film depends on whether the above description entices.
