****Chobits disk 1****
Chobits is a 26 episode long Japanese manga series. It has been quite popular and can be bought to read,on dvd and there is also a video game out for it.
The four episodes on disk one are called-chi awakens, chi goes out,chi learns and chi goes on errands.
The series is about a guy called Hideki Motosuwa who at the beginning of the series has just moved to the city and is planing to attend a prep school so that he can get ... ...so imagine his delight when he finds a Persocom. Persocoms are computers that look just like people, toy figures or animals. When he turns it on (switches on in a completely dodgy place) all it can say is chi and that is how it gets its name. The episodes then centre around Hideki's relationship with Chi and without giving anything away there he gets into some pretty embarrassing situations.A major theme in this series is obviously the persocome-human ...

this is one of my favourite animes! :-D
set in the future, the series starts with japanese boy hideki failing to get into the college he applied to, and moving to tokyo to retake his classes.
when he arrives in tokyo he encounters the new Big Thing - persocoms, powerful computers with internet access that look exactly like people(or more specifically, cute girls!) who follow you round, communicate with you, run errands, and basically obey your ... ...true!
however, these persocoms are waaay out of hideki's price range. desolate, he tells himself he will never afford one. however, on a walk that night he finds a mysterious, but seemingly perfect, persocom, abandoned in the trash! he takes her home and turns her on. finding the only word she can say is "chii", he decides that must be her name, and so hideki and chii begin their adventure!
this is a funny, sweet cartoon. hideki is a very likeable ...

Advantages: Great anime ~ Japanese voice acting is very good Disadvantages: Some may prefer it in English Dubbed
...now brilliantly animated by MadHouse, Chobits is the story if Motosuwa Hideki, a starving ronin (student declined from college) and now living the hard life away from his Hokkaido farm, and in Tokyo!
The hottest craze nowadays is the Persocom. The Persocom is your basic PC that can record information, access the Internet, and help you run errands! What's even cooler is that they come in all shapes and sizes, resembling human girls and guys (girl ... ...Chii holds within.
Overall, Chobits is a very high-quality series that should be watched by CLAMP fans and others alike. MadHouse does a beautiful job with the animation, which is extremely smooth and flawless. Also, the intro and ending sport an incredible combination of animation and music. In addition, a whole menagerie of talented voice actors were brought on board, including Seki Tomokazu, Kumai Motoko, and up-and-coming Tanaka Rie. And of ...

Advantages: Funny, Great story, pretty unique, great rewatch value, just as good as the manga. Disadvantages: Can be expensive, espeicaly to get hold of the full series
...It's based on the hit chobits manga by clamp. For anyone who would recognise the name they've made a few popular mangas and animes, one being cardcaptors, though this one unlike cardcaptors has an adult theme and shouldn't realy be given to children to watch (Despite the fact that I've seen the manga of it put in the childrens section in a few book stores).
The main stroy follows Hidiki Motosua who finds a persacom (A computer that looks like a ... ...the only thing it can say is "Chi". The series then follows chi's mysterious past along with some other weird, wonderful and funny encounters.
Overall this is one of my favourite tv shows of all time and the only thing that I would say to be bad that it can be expensive to get a hold of considering you're buying 4 episodes at a time. ...
