Chicken run is fun. If you like Wallace and Grommit then you are going to LOVE this, lets face it you love em. I don't know how Aardman does it but he really makes you care for a pile of clay. The film is hilarious, entertaining and enjoyable. The actors' voices invest the chickens with humour, humanity and personality - it makes you apprecitae just how attractive and a voice could be. This one works on a number of levels. The kids in the audience giggled at the slapstick, the adults at the atrocious puns - 'Poultry in Motion' and 'It's Raining Hens' being two of the worst! Great too to see the fun being made of every escape film ever made. Why did the chicken cross the road….To avoid watching this film. The animation as always from Nick Park was superb but the overall idea and story were to say the least poor. I found myself on numerous occasions looking at my watch to see how much longer I had to suffer.
