Chicken Run was a fairly average film, for me, a 15 year old. However I would recommend it too the younger ages groups and families. With good animation it is almost as good as Wallace and Gromit, but not so funny. The film contains many famous voices so even if you don’t enjoy the film you can try and work out which character’s voice bel;ongs to which celebrity. What a masterpiece in terms of entertainment, humour and stroyline. This film will be known in years to come as the benchmark for this type of animation. Chicken run is made by Nick Park creater of wallace and gromit. This is a very differnt film from all the rest. It is enjoyed by nearly everyone what ever age. It is about chicken trying to escape from a farmer. The farmers wife then buys a machine to kill them for meat. Then they really need to escape. ...when the farmer buys a chicken pie machine! Mel Gibson - playing Rocky the flying rooster, then arrives, promising the teach the hens how to fly. This is all a bluff though. Rather than giving the entire plot away, suffice to say that they escape, Rocky gets the girl, and they all live happily ever after. The story itself is great, and the script is very clever. Let me say first that Chicken Run is an excellent film for CHILDREN. The plot it predictable but there are some very funny moments through out the film. These moments aren't always deliberate I might add but sometimes more to do with the total stupidity of what your watching.
