Chicken run is all about Chickens on the run.. yes..really. I loved the film, I have always been a fan of Wallace and Gromit so I thought that I'd go and see this one as I could see the resemblence of the characters in the adverts. There are a number of funny comments in it and I loved the rats. I won't tell you my favourite line as those who haven't seen it, the plot would have been wrecked. Set on a Yorkshire chicken farm in the 50's, Chicken Run is about the constant escape plans of a bunch of hens. Chicken Run was great to watch. I never got bored watching the chickens trying to escape. If you have seen the Wallace and Gromit films you would have probably loved it and so you would love this. I went to see this film because i loved Wallace and Gromit and i was not disappointed in its humour. The voices of the chickens are done by many stars including Mel Gibson as Rocky the Rooster who can supposedly fly and lifts the hopes of the other chickens ...
...trying to escape and think that he has the answer. But the chickens end up being disappointed and let down when they eventually find out that he is only shot out of a cannon in a circus. Chicken Run is the most 3-D cartoonist picture since Toy Story, it is animated on Aardman Animations and is created by the same producer as Wallace and Gromit. ...went last night to see Chicken Run. Nick PArk and his mate have excelled themselves again. It is a film for all the family so take the kids! erm... On a similar note to Wallace and Grommit the animation quality is amazing and you can appreciate the amount of time and effort that was put into making this film. There is a good deal of humour at all levels, although some of the more subtle references might mean that you will want to watch it a couple ...

I reckon it will also keep all of its effect when it is released on video in a couple of years or so, but you cannot beat the whole cinema effect.
