Advantages: Different way of creating a film without usage of animation or actual people. Had a ot of British people dong the voice's for the films and is perfect of everyone to watch! Disadvantages: There are no disadvantages that I can think of
Chicken Run the movie is for the young and old and I would be shocked if anyone could say anything different! The characters are memorable, not to mention extremly funny! The DVD was easy to use, it was the first DVD that my family had bought and were glad it was simple to use. The whole family watched the movie and laughed at all of the jokes that were made, including Rockey's "Freedom!" cry. This was incrediable to hear as most adults won't make ...

Advantages: Mel Gibson is a chicken - don't have to see his face. Disadvantages: Axes and blades. Unsensitivity.
...really looking forward to seeing Chicken Run after the long wait we've had since Toy Story 2 for a quality animated film. The kind o film that appeals to all audiences, has a good story, is funny, and everyone comes out with a smile on their faces. Well not Chicken Run.
Its wonderfully made, and every detail of the film is well conceived and put together, but at the heart of the film is the same cliche that made Babe so unbearable - its about death.
I'm ...

Advantages: Great entertainment, funny and clever Disadvantages: It comes to an end.. Makes u feel like becoming a veggie
This film is the first FULL length film by the team behind such classics as Wallace and Gromit and Creature Comforts.. Most thought they couldn't translate to feature length. Well they have, and VERY successfully.
The film follows the trials and tribulations of a group of hardy chickens. All the cliches are covered, from the brainy, to the fat and to the stupid.
The film mixes clever visual gags with good a script.. Numerous famous voices bringing ...

Plucking good fun! Review ofChicken Run (Animated) (Wide Screen)by
moonbright
Advantages: Excellent animators Disadvantages: Not as good as Wallace & Gromit
An excellent film for all ages. I am sixteen years old and I'm in love with all Aardman Animations (especially Wallace and Gromit). I have benn an avid fan of Nick Parks for many years now. When I was a kid I enjoyed the adverts "Creature Comforts" and used to act them out in front of the class. As soon as I heard that "Chicken Run" was being made, I became obssessed. I went to see the film and came out crying (with laughter)!
It's a great film ...

Advantages: Some fun bits Disadvantages: Not as good as I expected
I went and saw chicken run the other day and have to say that allthough the film as a whole was quite good, I was expecting more. The film is not a bad film and in man ways in quite good, but not what I was expecting. I did not find it as funny as say the W and G, but then I suppose it had to be 3 times as long which is allways harder as you have to find more things to do about the same subject.
I have to say that I was disappointed with the film ...

A classic Review ofChicken Run (Animated) (Wide Screen)by
demongit
Advantages: funny Disadvantages: none
This film is a classic Nick Park film. If you have ever seen the great escape, this film is a must see. It is full of quotes and puns taken from a wide range of tv and films, such as when the plane takes off, the scottish hen shouts out " we cant do it captain, we havn't got the power" and when asked to investigate why, finds a grown up hanging on to the plane and shouts "it's a klingon sir". The main character is a fiesty hen, and Mel gibson is the ...

Advantages: funny, graet film Disadvantages: none really
Chicken run is a film I did not think i would like before I saw it but it is really good and I recommend that people reading this should go and watch it.
It is certainly a film for all ages and, like the Simpsons, has different levels in the plot.
Like the Walace and Gromit films in the modelling of the charcaters. A funny film also. One of the best films out this year - recommended.
The storyline is combines many types of story - I wont ...

Chicken Run Review Review ofChicken Run (Animated) (Wide Screen)by
michaelcrook
Advantages: Disadvantages:
Reviewer: Michael Crook
Director: Nick Park / Peter Lord
Starring: Mel Gibson (Voice) / Julia Sawalha / Jane Horrocks
So the long wait is over, but was it worth it? I must confess to finding the first 30 minutes of this film (excluding the captivating intro sequence) dull. If you also find this I strongly urge you to stick with it. After Mel Gibson's introduction everything begins to work. Numerous film references (though not as many as the superior ...
