...great actresses; Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty, and Holly Marie Combs. They play there characters very well. The boxset has 6 discs in, with about 22 episodes for each boxset. Hours and hours of fun and drama. You won't want to stop watching, you'll get hooked! Very good special effects! It really looks like they have magical powers! The demons look very real too! ...1 well as a huge charmed fan loved this box set it is full of aventures of the charmed ones. because it is the fist series it has very amusing and dramatic scenes of getting used to a supernatual life. Charmed is a very good series, and you will get into it quickly. Main story revolves around 3 sisters, who find out that they are witches. All their names start with P, Piper, Prue and Pheobe. They all have different powers, Piper can freeze time, Pheobe has premenitions and Prue has telekineses (moving objects with her mind) They live in their grandmothers hous that they call The Manor. They have a book called The Book of Shadows, and all the spells ...
...on to them. They are good wiches and they fight agains deamons. Most episodes have a briliant story line and it is so enjoyable to watch. I would reccoment for light viewing, but beware, you might get hooked on it like I did. The special effects are very good as well. ...

the charmed series is the best box set i have ever watch, it mixes reality with fantasy. the people are really real when the story is fantasy. i love charmed and would recommend it to anyone. series one introduces you to the story and the effects make you feel how the 3 sisters are feeling when they discover there powers. the series get better and better as they go along. i find some epsiodes have comedy in them aswell which is alway good. laughter ...

I didn't think I'd like Charmed when it first came out as I've never liked programmes like Buffy or fantasy programmes like that but when I saw the first episode of Charmed I knew I was hooked. The imagination behind this programme is brilliant. The story line is provocative and excellently portrayed in every episode. Series one is the beginning, showing the three Halliwell sisters coming into their powers, battling demons and their every day lives. ...
...over come but there are some long term interweaving storylines that will keep you gripped will the last episode of series 8! It also has great outfits and normal 20 something women’s problems such as dating and work and home life. If you want a feel good girl power programme to sink your teeth into then this is it. ...

...the first ever series of charmed and i really enjoy watching it , i have bought this boxset along with the others and although it is not as exciting and the directors arent as adventurous as they are in the other 7 , it is probably one of prues finer moments, this boxset ssets the scene of the whole charmed era and if you are going to get the other boxsets this one is definately worth buying as it explains everything you need to know about the haliwells ...

The songs do not gel into a memorable record, which adds to the impression that it was something created to fill the time between William Bloke (1996) and Mermaid Avenue (1998).
