...I was searching for the Charmed Box Set but it wasn't available. I was gutted. Then I heard they were making a series one box set and I had to have it. My little boy's dad got it me for my birthday and I now understand exactly what's what. The price wasn't exactly right though, pretty expensive at £45. I have recently purchased the Charmed Series 1 DVD box set off eBay. My purchase was an item that I had wanted for a very long time, but had put off buying because when it came out it was so expensive - £39.99 for six DVDS. However, you can now get it in the shops for about £19.99 or cheaper if you are really lucky. However on eBay it can be really cheap to get a slightly used copy. Because of the constant bickering with the sisters it puts a lot of strain on Grams who knows about the legacy of the charmed ones and knows that at some point the girls will gain their powers, so after deciding that it probably wans't a great idea for the girls to become charmed just yet, she creates a potion to bind there powers. unfortunately on her way to the attic to cast the spell ...

We are introduced to 3 sisters, Prue (Shannon Doherty), Piper (Holly-Marie Coombs) and Phoebe (Alysa Milano) who discover that upon the death of their grandmother and their reunion in ‘The Manor’ they have magic powers and are in fact witches. Prue can move objects with her mind, Piper can freeze objects and Phoebe get premonitions. ...If you have never seen Charmed before this is definately worth a look. However, if you are a Charmed fan then you might be slightly disappointed with the lack of special features.
