Advantages: Bright, action packed, fun, informative Disadvantages: Don't get it if you're looking for an in-depth, believable storyline
...some time ago, I watched Charlie's Angels on it today. I am converted! The director's, McG, comments were absolutely fascinating! The house Drew drops into naked (after she's been shot out of the window in her sheet!) is apparently the same house they filmed ET in - talk about a full circle! Look out for the M&Ms in the garden, ET poster in the room and toy ET on the shelf. They also bring to your attention all the little mistakes you just wouldn't ... ...Diaz does her dancing in the club - she really just goes for it and lets her hair down! I would definitely recommend Charlie's Angels for a bit of a laugh, and the DVD has got me hooked - I might just have to get a player myself! ...

Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
Any film that makes Mission Impossible 2 look intellectual has got to be the most stupid film ever. I just cannot explain how unbelievably ridiculous this ilm is, if it was a Naked Gun sequal maybe it would be forgivable. This film seems to have pretensions of being serious to an extent, however. Admittedly, the only reason I watched this film (well, two reasons) were Drew Barrymore, gorgeous as always, and Cameron Diaz, even more radiant than she ... ...can see my expectations of a plot weren't huge in the first place, but you do expect SOMETHING. However, there is nothing here. If the cameraman is to be believed, Lucy Lui's hair is the most important constituent of the film.
I don't remember the orgiinal 70's series, but if it was anything like this I can't understand why it has a cult following. Bill Murray's character is just stupid, and the rest are thinly drawn, some to the point of transparency.

... and you'll probably love it. Especially if you're female. I did. Odd how all the criticisms of it - light script, nonsensical plot, shallow - also apply to pretty much every boy's adventure movie ever made but in the case of the Bond films, for example, are not regarded as criticisms at all. This is possibly the first ever girl's action movie made for girls and with jokes that only girls will really get. Watch Drew Barrymore use her cleavage ... ...trunk is raided, and smile knowingly because you've done the same thing. Plus Barrymore is utterly, utterly gorgeous. As is Diaz. And Lucy Liu, if you're into that sort of thing. The whole film on one level is about how easy it is if you're a girly to manuipulate men - and also how we get it wrong. Don't listen to the boys, girls - go see! ...

Advantages: Top casting, excellent script Disadvantages: A little obvious at times
Starring Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore as Natalie, Dylan and Alex, Charlies Angels is the first movie spin-off from the 1970's series of the same name.
Those expecting a full length version of the series will go home dissapointed (the only similarity being the voice of Charlie, still done by John Forsyth of Dynasty fame). If however, like me, you've gone purely to be entertained then this is one of the best action comedies to be released ...

Advantages: Funny and Good Music Disadvantages: Corney dialogue and no storyline to speak of.
I was dragged to see Charlie's Angels by friends and i have to admit, it was better than expected. Ok it was cheesy, and very corny! The story was completely unrealistic but the stunts were quite good! The soundtrack was good and we spent more time guessing the singer than concentrating on who was fighting who but it was a harmless "comedy", and the only thing missing was Farah Fawcett appearing as a stewardess on the plane before titles! Afterall, ...

Advantages: Three really strong female characters and no shrieking! Disadvantages: Tom Green stinks as usual
When I saw this film I really enjoyed it! I have to say that it is a very good updated remake compared to the TV series. It has a nice sort of irony and makes fun of itself in a fun way. It does not take itself seriously. The angels are just as cool and competent as you would like and Charlie as mysterious. It is nice to see fight scenes where the ladies kick butt without male assistance and the male villians bite the dust properly. The fight scenes ... ...Kong genre and the photage has a very comic book feel to it. The story is told in a way that keeps the tempo and the bad guys are just SO cool and nasty they can get and they know about it. There are some good special effects including F1 inner city high speed pursuit, the biggest explosion in five counties, string fights and much more.
If you are in the mood for two hours worth of entertainment and don't care too much for the Ingmar Bergman approach ...

Butt-kicking, action-packed and huge amounts of Girl power! There are plenty of laughs and excitement is always around the corner. Dylan(Drew Barrymore), Alex(Lucy Lieu) and Natalie (Cameron Diaz) kick butt as the girls are helped by their faithful manager Bosley and their ever-shy employer, Charlie. The plot is commendable as the Angels battle to save the hot Scietist Knox who has been kidnapped. But is Drew biting more than she can chew when she ... ...claims to be? And why is knox so interested in Charlie? This movie is not only appealing to the girls but the guys will also be hanging at the end of their seats as there is vast amounts of mystery nad thrills to enjoy. Advantages: Action, good actresses Disadvantages: None
I went to see charlies angels a couple of weeks ago and I totally enjoyed it. It had a great storyline and it included so much action. I was totally drawn to it and did not get bored once. All Three actresses played the parts excellently and they were really good. I have seen the 70's version and think this is a much better version of Charlies angels. I really enjoyed it and I could definatly watch it a million more times! I would recommend it to ...

Advantages: action packed at some bits effects are great Disadvantages: abit boring at times
After sitting down on saturday night to watch the movie charlies angels. I thought to myself this is going to be great. The start of the film was slightly appealing but not enough to have me glued to the screen. Do not get me wrong half way into the film the action scenes did pick up. Cameron Diaz suited her role the best and had practised her martail art moves well enough for you to believe she had done this for years. at the end I had nearly feel ... ...enjoy the film as much as I expected but what the heck it beats watching cilla black.
It is worth watching as the action scenes are good and the special effects are great too. Maybe I didn't like it as It never captured me at all. My kids enjoyed it even if it was just for the babes. lol ...

Advantages: Fun to watch, good actresses, good storyline, good sound effects, good martial arts in the film. Disadvantages: rated 15 so people underage who want to watch it, cant.
This film was really good, but not as good as it was made out to be. The thought of having women against the world and saving it is just really cool, because normally sexist people would put the men in charge. The storyline is good, and it has appearances like Matt Le Blanc (Joey from friends) and it really worked. The actresses picked to play the main Angels parts were right for the part, and all 3, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, And Drew Barrymore were ...

Advantages: You definitely won't get bored! Disadvantages: Nothing too bad
The hype about this film was always going to be huge, and most likely, unjustified, but the story of three female special agents all working for their boss ‘Charlie’ has adapted brilliantly from TV to film. Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz all bring some character to each agent, in what has to be a called a great feel-good-film. Anyone who wasn’t a fan of the original series could be forgiven in thinking that the film was all action ... ...shown, consisting of the high-tech fight scenes, but the comedy woven in with this, is what really makes the film a hit. From the first dazzling aeroplane scene, you know this is not one to be taken seriously. The crafty plans and dodgy disguises the girls come up with mean any film-goer who’s a stickler for detail and accuracy, might like to give this a miss, but everyone else should give it a try. A definite one for a girl’s night out. ...

Basically this is gonna be set out in a review style cause i dont really know how to do an opinion on it because people might not of seen it and i dont wanna give it away - awwwwwww aint i nice :) hehe
Plot: The Cheesy Seventies TV Series is transformed into an arse-kicking blockbuster with Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore as the lady investigators on the trail of some stolen software.
Picture Quality: As good as it gets.
DVD Extras: ... ...Destiny's Child music videos and a blooper reel, there are five mini featurettes. The first is on enthusiastic director McG who "just loves to blow things up" - lol. Then theres a look through the girls wardrobe (sorry lads not through the underwear draws-lol), features on the sets, special effects and a wire work the actors had to perform for the stunts and, best of all......a behind the scenes look at the girls (naked -joke! ) being put through ...

Advantages: Excellent Fun, Excellent Cast and Plenty of Action Disadvantages: Not the Strongest Storyline
Being just old enough to remember the original TV series I eagerly awaited the new Charlies Angels movie, especially after seeing the trailers starring Bill Murray.
Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore play the lead characters and a fine job they do to, all looking gorgeous and very playful. It may not be the most original film but it more than makes up for this with plenty of martial art action, romance and lasting quick witted comedy moments.
... ...interested it concerns the rivalry between two big time computer bosses and the development of a software program that can listen in to any telephone conversation in the world.
For our enjoyment they could have used the talents of Bill Murray more, as he was excellent in the role of Bosley. Another plus was the part played by Owen Wilson as Cameron's love interest. A fun to watch movie. ...

Its not such a long film and i didn't get bored at all. Infact it was a barrel of laughs. the characters had humour as well as being individual and slightly classic.
