I went to see this film not knowing very much about the storyline, but left the cinema with the realisation that there is NO storyline. I knew I had made the wrong decision as soon as the film began to show signs of hair flicking and fake laughter. ...film I was not expecting Charlie's Angels to be earth shatteringly good. However I was expecting to have a bit of a laugh and to be entertained. I have watched Charlies Angels a couple of times now and i think it is really good. It is an action thriller and very enjoyable. The girls fighting was very good although i think it is a copy of the Matrix a bit. I like the idea of how they put you in suspense of knowing who Charlie is. This film is great! Light-hearted, funny, great stunts - almost believable!, great direction and casting. If you liked the direction in Mission Impossible 2, then you'll like this. Lots of slow-mo fighting scenes, which are very well choreographed and performed. I saw Charlie's Angels recently, and I have to say that I wasn't the least bit impressed. We have a trio of copycats who zoom through air, across land and sea with borrowed stunts from almost every other action movie. This no-brainer has MTV and Matrix touches, particularly in fight sequences with slow-motion shots, spruced up angles and special effects. Disadvantages: Import from America and having a Region 1 enabled DVD player!

I have been buying DVD's almost since they came out and have found that the American DVD releases seem to be more packed with Extra's and other features than the regular UK ones. The only problem that I had found was the import charge when ordering from a company based in the US but I have since found a number of relatively cheap importers based in the UK who especially with pre-ordering can get you a product that is both cheaper than the standard ... This is a film that is cleverly structured with a cheesy but good sstory line. THE ANGELS- Dilion, Alex and Natalie (Drew Barrymore, Lucy Lui and Cameron Diaz) are special agents working for Charlie, they have never seen Charlie before. I wasn't too sure what to expect for this film. I don't remember ever seeing the TV series, and had read contradicting reviews. I was dragged of by my friends without a clue. I was pleasantly surprised. This film is really funny- especially Cameron Diaz's character, Natalie. Some of the plot is totally unbelievable, but who cares? This was one of those films that I was very eager to watch after I had seen the trailer. But I have to say I was quite disapointed. The story line was plain stupid, and I found most of the comedy quite annoying. However if you are into silly comedy spoofs (which I'm not) I probably would recommend this to you. Disadvantages: At times it did just make you think of the series but you were'nt dissapointed

The movie was not only full of a great starring cast but the story line was good as well. Although you expect for a film that goes on for too long and ruining the series from a few years ago it managed to entertain and impress you all the way through. There was action and a few parts made me think of the next bond movies but played by three ladies instead.
