I sort of agree with you, but not totally on your opinion of Charles Angels. I bought charlies angels becuase it looked really good in the adverts, i now realise that the adverts get the best bits of a film, and the advert for this film was probably the only best bits. I wasn't sure whether this was going to be good when I went to see it. It was very entertaining and very well done. I really enjoyed drew barrymore and cameron diaz's performances but I didn't really like lucy liu's perfomance. She didn't seem as funny as the other two. Disadvantages: A bit unbelievable at times!

...all want to be a Charlie's Angel, beautiful, intelligent, successful... and this is probably why we enjoy it so much. The acting is believable, the stunts not quite so believable, and the conclusion, even less so. But if you don't take it quite so seriously, this is the best film I've seen in a long time. This is supposed to be a cross between action and comedy but I see neither of these - only bad acting but the cast are very nice and kept my attention the entire way through.....Cameron Diaz crawling along the beach naked..... Disadvantages: Lack of storyline

Contrary to what the other opinions say, I thought that the fight scenes in this movie were very alike those of the Matrix with good use of Bullet Time Technology. It's true overall the film is a bit of a downer after the highly acclaimed original did so well but you gotta admit, Cameron Diaz is HOT and any film with her in it will pull in the crowds. Its a film to sit back and enjoy and not take too seriously, if you do you will be disappointed, as it is silly at times, but a lot of fun! There are three angels, played by Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. They all play very different parts than they normally do, which is what makes this film so interesting! this film straight away got into the action, it did not give time to meet the angels. however lovely the angels were they did not match up to the original. they were simply nt glamourous enough! they were all secret agenda and not work agenda! they were not loving charlie! i went to see this film with my girlfriend and of course she loved it! it is a "chick flick" and was all happy to see the girls win and the bad boy lose! the film is entertaining ... ...not the girls who played Charlie's angels didn't know anything about Kungfu, Gymnastics or anything like that! It is defernatly and good film to buy on DVD when it comes out! There are some VERY funny parts in the film, but make sure that the kids don't watch it to much, other wise you'll have some little comedians in the house that have got a bit of swearing and adult language! Advice: if you prefer a film with a serious storyline, meaningful dialogue and believable characters then avoid this film like the plague! However, if you can suspend your disbelief for a short while than this movie is silly fun, although the more cynical amongst you will be forever picking holes in the plot.
