Advantages: No violents, good family film, very good acting by Tom Hanks Disadvantages: A bit too long on some scenes
A realisic film of what could happen if shipwretched. Very good storyline and when watching the film you feel part of it. No sex or violents so a good family film. Tom Hanks performance was very good and it really looked like he was actually the character instead of just acting. Advantages: The actors play their characters well Disadvantages: Not very interesting
...and their jobs (I thought) Castaway began to become watchable. Being castaway on a remote island for years isn't exactly exiting, however this film made it look more exiting than winning the lottery! Robin Williams plays Chuck and Helen Hunt plays his girlfriend (at the start). After Chuck's plane crashes he is swept onto a deserted island in the middle of nowhere. There he survives eating fish and coconut. Thats basically it. Nothing much else happens ...

In my opinion Tom Hanks is the most overrated actor in the history of Show business. Remember the president in 'The Dead Zone'?
