Tom Hanks does it again, he thrills us and keeps us glued to the screen through yet another of his brilliant films. At first i was sceptical, one man on a desert island for the majority of the film, not my ideal film, however within the first few minutes i was hooked, Russia, why was he in Russia, something must happen on the way home, but no we were made to wait until we had be made awear of the relationship he was in. ...were breathtaking Throughout his time on the island, it was thrilling to watch how he adapted and stuck by his job and didnt open all the packages. And who couldnt fall for wilson, you ended up feeling so sad when he floated away. Watching him change on the island was fun, there is comedy, drama, trauma, something for all. After finding nothing to watch on tv i decided this film looked good enough to watch. It isnt usually my type of film and i tried not to like it but actually i loved it! the story is great and it kept me entertained. some parts of the film i thought didnt need to be in there or they should have edited some out because it got a bit boring just watching him sit there on an island doing nothing but i empathised with him when he lost his only friend ...

Tom Hanks was outstanding as with all his films just such a pity that the film had a poor ending. It seems to me that they had had enough of filming and wanted to go home early. The overall story was good and one believed that a ball called Wilson was real and tears filled my eyes when he drifted off never to be seen again There seemed to be gaps in the film, it suddenly jumped four years, Tom Hanks appeared with a full beard and able to spear fish ...

I saw "cast away" as an advert on television and I knew I had to see it. It stars Tom Hanks. It's about this man who works for a parcel delivery company all over the world. Then one day he has to go onthis flight and the plane crashes and he is stranded on a desert island. He has to learn how to stay alive.
