Advantages: fun, lighthearted chicken soup kind of movie Disadvantages: not really anything new or different
A lighthearted action flick that works on all levels. A Martial Arts, Action, adventure with lots of comedy. There are matrix and crouching tiger style wire work special effects that continue pushing the limits of possibilites- fantastic. Chow Yun-Fat as always provides fabulous believeable martial arts action and a sweet sense of humour to this movie of unlikely heroes. Advantages: Entertaining, action, humour Disadvantages: Could have had a better plot
I have to say of late there have not been that many movies worth watching at the cinema at all. It was Good Friday and we had nothing else to do So we decided to go and See Bullet Proof Monk. I was not really expecting much, but I was pleasantly suprised.
Although the plot was weak the overall film was entertaining and fun and there was plenty of action.
The overall mis-en-scene of the film was good. Good performances from Fat and Scott.Good to ...

Advantages: Good effects, good action Disadvantages: short
I thought this film was great, it gets you interested right from the beginning as there is a sense of the super natural being there. The fighting effects are also good, that is if you like some of the martial arts fighting. This film also contains some comedy which is good if you like some of the fighting mixed with humour. Romance is also contained in the film but it's not so much of it that it makes you want to hurl. This film is mostly about attitude ...

Advantages: you'll want to watch it over and over again Disadvantages: somewhat steriotypical characters, and cornie plot
its one of those films that makes you want to watch it over and over again, and then once more for goodluck,
you'll sit there for hours watching every special feature, and then when your done it will make you want to come online and write reviews of it, its the film for any situation, the perfect blend of action comedy and friendship film,
good performances by the main actors really help to compensate for the so-so plot, and its good to see scott ... ...though its not a total departure from his normal persona, and you'll find yourself calling him "stiffler" right through the film
as far as films go it dosent take itself to seriousley, so you shoudnet take it to seriousley. and the fantasticaly sterio-typical characters and cornie plot just add to the films charm
this is one fim that wont disapoint, unless you are looking for a serious martial arts film, but if you just want to be entertained for ...
