Blade is another hollywood adaptation of a superhero who started life in a comic. I must admit, I had never heard of the comic before but the idea of guy with body armour and cool weapons blowing away vampires sounded very cool. Ok this movie was shown about 2years, ago but I only just seen it! and loved every minute of it. Also I had no idea it was a vampire story, so the first sceen was a bit of a shock. His mother was bitten at birth which caused his DNA to mutate so he gained all the strengths of the creatures of the night, but none of their weaknesses (unless you count the thirst for blood).
