Firstly I am a massive Billy Connolly fan. I have loved his work for a long time and although I am too young to have seen him in some of his original Parkinson interviews I am fortunate enough to have seen most of his performances back to back, rather than having to wait years for another tour. I'd like to say this is a great DVD but I'd be lying. He is getting older and is talking to an American audience so obviously this will effect what he says, but the problem with the DVD is more accurately that he just isn't as funny. It's disappointing to say but I wouldn't particularly recommend the DVD. If you can get it from a good price then go for it but don't rush to buy it. If you are wanting to introduce Billy to someone then buy his DVD from the 90s. ...
