If you like Adam Sandler, Big Daddy has got to be the film for you. Sandler is given temporary custody of a five year old boy and the results are hiarious. Adam Sandler almost at his best. Sonny Cofax is a layabout bum who has been living off stock earnings gained when he had a pay out for an injury received when a cab ran over his foot two years ago. He works one day a week in a toll booth and has no intention of growing up. Suddenly his life is turned upside down when a kid turns up on his doorstep. The child (Julien) is apparently the illegitimate offspring of his roommate who has just gone to China ...
...until Social Services can find a foster family for him. What follows is a series of lessons in how to be a 16 year old. Sonny shows Julien how to trip rollerbladers up in the park, pee all over buildings and how to use the sleeper-hold (wrestling term!!).
