...the sequel never seems to be better than the original and that is certainly the case with Be Cool. Get Shorty is one of my favourite films and for the follow up to be better than its predecessor would have been some accomplishment. Also, the music scenes are often tedious and the whole thing feels a bit too long, at nearly 2 hours. Having said that, "Be Cool" works more often than not - check out the hilarious sight-gag at the end when someone (I won't say who) ends up being set on fire and then inadvertantly wanders onto the set of an R'nB video. ...

Being able to see John and Uma on screen again, was reason enough to make me hit my local movie box.
