...Me and the totally awesome Austin Powers.
If you do not want to know the plot look away now. His "MOJO" is stolen whilst Powers is frozen. Austin must go back in time to save his "MOJO".
The best bit by far was when FAT BARSTARD's faecies were mistaken for tea and drunk. "Ohh, a bit bitty!"
Mini Me is fantastic as are all the characters. A great hilarious film with Budacious Babes, Grovvy Hair and an awesome motor.
Great job! A Must see movie. ...

Advantages: Everything - and Mini Me Disadvantages: It ends.
Well - From Mini-Me to Fat Bastard, the return of Doctor Evil (He didn't spend seven years at evil medical school to be called MR) and the arrival of Felicity Shagwell - this film has it all. Laugh a minute gags at fat people, (Gore) dwarves, (Gore) and bastards... It never ends. A fine sequel to the first film - International Man of Mystery - it joins the legendary band of films with sequels worthy of the name. If you haven't seen it then go to ...

before i start, this review relates to the "criterion" edition. www.criterionco.com
This version of the film is a directors cut but spread across 2 discs. Disc 1 includes a directors cut along with 2 seperate commentary tracks. Disc 2 includes out takes and a VERY in depth look at the special effects etc. This package is worth owning just for the extras.
In my opinion, its a pity that the story itself s so weak. Asteroid heading for earth and the ...

Austin Powers is one of the best comedys of the 90's and the seconed one is arguably just as good. For Austin Powers 1 being so popular A.P 2 is even more so. It's about a 60's spy who has a mojo so that every woman loooves him. The film is literally a spoof of James bond. Everything is purposely made to look really fake. Mike myers plays Dr evil, Austin and Fat b*****d.
Dr Evil is well ... evil! he trys to take over the world unless Austin can do anything about it. Later on he time travels to the 90s where he finds felicity shagwell. ...

Advantages: Exciting Action Movie Disadvantages: Leave your brain behind
This movie is another Hollywood special effects extravaganza. The storyline isn't as good as Deep Impact (not yet out on DVD in the UK) but who cares when you've got superb action to back it up - the meteor
shower at the beginning of the film is just fantastic. The story moves along at quite a pace and managed to keep me so enthralled that I kept my eyes off my watch throughout. The only possible offence this movie might cause is thanks to America ... ...with any other countries!!!! The DVD picture quality to so good that if you watch some of the special effects in slow motion that you can pick out the errors in the effects. The Dolby Digital sound is also quite stunning. Until Deep Impact comes out this is the best meteor movie around. ...

Austin Powers is one of the best films there are. It is funny and you never get bored watching it. Being the big hit it was I think they should bring out an Austin Powers 3. This film is brilliant, it is packed with comedy. You will neve get bored watching it, infact, you will want to watch it over and over again. This is what happened to me anyway. I would reccomend this film to tennagers to 60 year olds and if your ever feeling down all you've ... ...you'll cheer up straight away.
Even if you don't want to buy the video you could always rent it from your nearest video store or if you have sky the film is on the sky premiers quite often. It's usually on sky premier and sky premier 1 and 2. It has definatly got to be one of the funniest film i've seen and if you were to buy it, it would be well worth your money. You will even start picking up the phrases after a bit. The ones like " do I make ...

...the greatest films of '99. Austin Powers' sequel is even funnier, cruder and stupider than the first. It involves pretty much the same characters, except with the addition of a few new ones such as Minime, the dwarfed version of Dr Evil, Austin Powers' archenemy. Featuring Jerry Springer, Heather Graham, and Mike Myers in various guises, this DVD is definitely worth getting.

Austin powers – the spy who shagged me, the title says it all really, who can take a film like that seriously, no one, and its not meant to be, its tongue in cheek all the way, and a laugh a minute, there’s some familiar characters in it if you’ve seen the first one, notably Austin, Dr evil, number two and Mrs Kensington, who is actually a femme bot and dies in the opening moments of the film, disappointingly. Her replacement heather ... ...name! Together they must overcome Dr evils plans once again and save the world. ...The story goes that Austin has his mojo (hmmm) stolen by Doctor Evil and Austin has to fight him to get it back and save the world. The great characters still remain, though a little flogged (A “LASER”). Great new characters are Fat Bastard (“Get in me belly!”) and Ivana Humpalot. Potentially a great film but let down by few new ideas, far too much toilet humour (believe me, you can have too much). ...

Whilst Austin Powers 2 is a funny film it's just more of the same gags! The DVD is on the plus side, it's packed with extras such as music videos, deleted scenes and behind the scenes footage. Its just a shame that the movie isn't more than just a cash-in! You get the feeling you've seen it all before. Although, I think the sequel is better, due to Mini-me's prescence, without each other they'd not be as good.

Advantages: Brilliantly funny, great script-writing and acting Disadvantages: not good if you take things too seriously
This is one of the funniest films ever made! The characterisation is brilliant (Mini-me, Scott Evil and Fat Bastard) and the farce is even better. Some parts are so funny (others are disgusting...cue fat bastard) they will make you cry with laughter! The soundtrack is excellent and anyone with a sense of humour will laugh out loud at the scene in the tent while the guards watch from outside! I would recommend buying this as you can watch it again ...
