In his second screen adventure, British superspy Austin Powers must return to 1969, as arch-nemisis Dr. Evil has ventured back to that year and successfully stolen Austin's "mojo"...
more...(libido!) and set up an ultrapowerful cannon and aimed it at the Earth. With the help of gorgeous agent Felicity Shagwell, the newly single Austin must now not only contend with Dr. Evil, but also Evil's vicious, pint-size attack-clone, Mini-Me. Also in this installment, Evil's son, Scott, finds out who his mother is and Mike Myers stars as a third character, rotund Scotsman Fat Bastard. More raucous fun in the spirit of its 1997 smash predecessor.

...of Dr Evil's container of Austin Mojo and Shagwell into the night. Her constant change of outfits, exposed thigh, bottom halves of asscheeks, bare abdomens... AND THAT LOOK IN HER EYE! Yes, you know the look. It's the one you dream of having in her eyes when she looks at you. She wants it, she's tired of talk, and she wants somebody (especially Austin) to give it to her. But on top of that, she'll do anything and anyone for the betterment of the human ... Read review

The Spy Who Couldn’t Get It Up
Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by muc

Advantages: Willy gags
Disadvantages: Same old stuff

Austin Powers, like sex , is never as good the second time around. This film was an above average effort to milk some more ££££ out of the Austin Powers character. Merchandise city! Another excuse to sell the mugs, dolls, posters, t-shirts and all the other mechanise associated with a big budget Hollywood film these days. Back to the film. As a collection of sketches on Saturday Night Live this film would have worked but a 2 hour movie was just too ... Read review

Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by jasonevered

Advantages: discounted price
Disadvantages: not as funny as the first film

...the catch phrases used by Austin "Danger" Powers ( aka Mike Myers ). For the one's amongst us who don't know who im talking about, Austin Powers is a spoof James Bond. In this latest offering, he is again fighting his evil nemisis Dr Evil (also played by Mike Myers). In his fight against Dr Evil he comes up against a number of characters, Fat Bastard (Mike Myers again) who is a rather large obscene scotman, who has some lovely habits. also he has ... Read review

Advantages: Great fun
Disadvantages: slightly silly

...film: It is 1999 and Austin Powers is honeymooning with the smashing Vanessa Kensington (Elizabeth Hurley) when he receives an explosive' surprise that returns him to single swinging status. To make matters worse, Dr. Evil has returned to Earth from the frozen recesses of space and is hatching a new diabolical scheme to annihilate the world. It seems Dr. Evil uses a newly developed time machine to travel back to 1969, where he steals Austin Powers' ... Read review

Oh baby!
Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by simonpear2000

Advantages: Funny as you're likely to get without using Prozac
Disadvantages: Cheap. Oh so cheap.

...sequel to the highly succesful Austin Powers - International Man of Mystery. The plot is a bit...well...non existent. Dr Evil comes back from outer space to steal Austin’s mojo in 1969. Austin, who is now in 1999 has to go back and try to get it back. Of course, Dr Evil is agian demanding ridiculous amounts of money, Mustafa is suffering immense pain and Scott cannot get a word in edgeways with his father. Life is normal then. So this film is ... Too similar to the first film.
Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by glwgardner

Advantages: Funny
Disadvantages: Too much like the original

While I really like this film I do have to say it`s a bit of a cop out as it`s basically the same jokes as the first film with a slightly different story. I don`t like the lead female character as much as the first film either. The star of the film as with the last one is Dr. Evil who just cracks me up. The disc itself is excellent with loads of extras including the excellent Madonna Video to "Beautiful Stranger" along with 2 other Music Videos, deleted ... Read review

Instantly forgettable stuff.
Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by stereoman

Advantages: It is unique compared to current comedies.
Disadvantages: It should habve been so much more.

...various assassins try to kill Austin (with the regrettable Spitz or Swallows exchange). All the satire that was present is ready and willing but unfortunately brief. Such as the re-appearance of Will Ferrell as the unfortunate foreign spy who get knocked down the side of a cliff and never seems to die. Unwelcome is the return of Burt Bacharach in a silly cameo doing another song, this time with Elvis Costello. This film should have been better. ... Read review

One Groovy DVD, Baby!
Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by syllabub

Advantages: Great film with lots of extras!
Disadvantages: None!

Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery is one groovy package... and so is this DVD, baby! The film itself is spectacular, I couldn't have asked for a better follow-up to the first feature. 'The Spy Who Shagged Me' has it all- musical interludes, fight scenes, filthy fun and of course, gratitious nudity. I chose to buy this DVD in particular for the splendid extras that the disc boasts. Firstly we have a entertaining Austin themed menu which includes ... Read review

Austin Powers --- The Spy Who Shagged Me!
Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by x_xmegganx_x

Advantages: This film is packed full of fun, laughter and romance!!
Disadvantages: Little unrealistic at the start

...as three different people - Austin Powers, Dr Evil and Fat Bastard - and Heather Graham playing the sexy spy -Felicity Shagwell "Shagwell by name shag very well by reputation"- This has to be the funniest of the trilogy. Well the competition is close between this and the third and final - Austin Powers in Goldmember (where Mike Myers encounters yet another role as Goldmember *also starring Beyonce Knowles*- The start of the film is a little unbeliveable ... Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by graham.m.carr

Advantages: Hilarouis
Disadvantages: none

I absolutely adore Austin Powers II starring the brilliant Mike Myers and Heather Graham. Heather plays a spy called Felicity Shagwell and Mike plays Austin, Dr. Evil, and Mini Me, Fat Bastard but all of his characters are so very different. I didn't realize they were all him until I read the credits. Seth Green (from buffy the vampire slayer) plays Scott Evil who is Dr. Evil's son and they both end up featuring on the Jerry Springer Show, It's hilarious! ... Read review

Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by Lizzii

Advantages: All thing Evil
Disadvantages: Fat Bastard - v.scary

Buy this DVD...Buy it NOW! There is very little i didn't like about this film and it was certainly on par with the first film which is unusual for a sequel. Dr. Evil stole the show for me once again adn Mike Myers proved that his comedy timing has waned in the slightest. The DVD has all the extras you would expect plus a few more which make it a great value for money item. I could try and list all the scenes that had me gripping my stomach with ... Read review

Quick review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD
Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by suave_writer

The whole concept of a toothy bond like.... stuck in future was halarious ..... Mike Mayers has came into his own in this character and has performed competantly in all characters that he has performed in the movie i.e. Austin Powers & Dr. Evil. Heather Graham has done a good job at keeping beauty with brains idea concept intact. The movie starts off with the idea of a sadistic lonetic Dr. Evil planning to rule the world using his LASER BEAM :), Austin is aware of Dr. Evil's EVIL plans and tries to stop him but in the process looses his MOJO ..... well in a nutshell the movie is a bag of laughter spiced up with a silly imitations of bond antics... the potrayal of the 60's is an eminant part of the movie. A must watch for all those ... who dont associate laughter with logic.

Review of Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD by thegamecb

Advantages: A laugh a minute, Very funny
Disadvantages: No story (not much of a disadvantage actually)

Everybody saw Austin Powers:International man of mystery and thought it was great and couldn't be topped for it's comedy, Wrong, the sequel is so much funnier, the laughs come every minute and this time the film is not so based around the story as the first one was, this one is just good old fashioned laughs. The characters that are played by Mike Myers are Hilarious ranging from Austin himself to Dr.Evil to Fat Bastard. The story is that Dr. Evil ... Read review
