The charectors pull of their roles flawlessly giving a truely convincing and emotional performance on all occasions. Armageddon, Armageddon, Armageddon where do I begin. I'll tell you, I will start by saying WOT A FILM. Honest this film is one I could watch over and over again. Another classic film that I loved and with a fantastic plot and cast there was nothing missing from this film. It is either a film you love it or you hate it. This is a great film, with an awesome cast, including Bruce Willis, Ben affleck and Billy Bob Thornton. Willis' oil drilling team are asked by NASA to travel to space to drill through a meteor that, if not dealt with, could destroy the Earth. This film is my all time favourite. It has everything for everybody. It has comedy, sci fi, romance, action and adventure. 10 years down the line and the special effects in this movie still look great. The film is about a huge meteroite the size of texas is on a colision coarse to hit earth. There mission, is to send two shuttles up and drill a nuclear bomb in the middle and when it detonates it, will split in two and miss earth. SIMPLE! It was a few years after the release date until i saw this film, and I wish I had seen it sooner! It is definately a must see for any Bruce Willis or Ben Affleck fan! I thought it would be another terrible science-fiction film, but actually turned out to be a rather fantastic romantic and action one instead. I absolutely love the soundtrack as well, which is by Aerosmith 'Dont' Want To Miss A Thing', and the song 'Leaving On A Jet Plane'. Afterwards ...

I think this movie is excellant. There is an all star cast, action and a resonably good plot. Bruce Willis is excellant as Harry Stamper an oil driller and Ben Affleck is great as Stamper's daughter's Husband to be. Liv Tyler is good in this movie although she could have been better. This is a very well made film and a pleasure to watch. I personally love this film and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is rated at 15 but I think that is only because of slight bad laungage on occasion. Bruce Willis was great as usual and pulls of his cool and hard man character brilliantly again. It begins with a cool scene showing the earth being hit by a comet 65 million years ago, As we move to the present day, a space shuttle is destroyed ...
...but they Soon discover that what destroyed the shuttle is far more deadly and much more worrying.
