THE BEST!!! Antz is a great movie. Good for children and adults alike. The story is great and shows the lives of the ants really well. The animation is brilliant and the movements are smooth!! The film is quite funny and at the same time dramatic. You have to feel so sorry for the ants when they are nearly drowned, and when they get stuck to the chewing gum on someones shoe. I loved this film and would recommend it to anyone, whether you have children ...

"Antz" is just like George Orwell's Animal Farm, but it is funnier. Sure, Orwell's brilliant satire is humorous, but is nothing like the razor sharp comedy that explodes from "Antz." Antz is a great family and kids movie. The storyline is great and shows the perils of the ants really well. The animations are great and the movements are so smooth! The film is quite comic yet at the same time dramatic. You feel so sorry for the ants when they are nearly drowned, and particularly when they get stuck to the gum on the trainer. I liked this film a lot and I would recommend it to anyone with children or anyone who likes modern technology ...

The actors are parodying their real selves and it is very funy throughout. the level of comprehension required is also that much higher than Bug's Life and Antz is much more for older children and adults. The poor little things!! This movie gives a fantastic insight into how big the world actually is, with a great moment when Z crosses the "lake" a sees a massive Pepsi can. I first watched this movie a couple of years ago, and never really realised how funny and comical it is - a closer look at Weaver, and you can clearly see Sylvester Stallone in him. The basic storyline is an ant, Z, who is fed up with being a worker, and longs for a better life. ...
...him for six. He is the sole survivor of a war against termites, which he should never have participated in, and is announced a war hero - which leaves Weaver extremely annoyed. The story continues with Z and the princess swimming off to the "promised land", or a picnic. This story is beautifully written and "acted" by the computer animated antz. A must-see movie about how massive the world is to them, yet how small it is to us. ...
