It shows the love Annie has for Frank Butler, but the fact that he will not look at her because she is a girl who shoots instead of a girl who acts like an ornament. He also see's her as inferior as she is a woman, and women don't shoot in his opinion. This story follows Annie and Frank falling in love, but being ... ...that they fall in love. Annie and her brother and sisters are also looked down upon by society as they are not educated and cannot read and write like other people, but this does not knock their confidence in that they are as good as everyone else. We see the joining and separation of two shows battling with Frank and Annie, to see who is the best. All over a great plot with a happy ending.
