Advantages: Based on a fine fine book Disadvantages: none
This was a re-release of the classic animated film adaptation of George Orwells fine book of the same name.
The book is a fine, fine piece - a masterful display of saying so much more than is actually written.
The films follows the story very precisely. The events take place on a farm, where all the animals live, unsurprisingly. While the story does work on all levels and kids will enjoy it simply for a basic story and characters, it is in fact ... ...of human life, and the animals, are animals are us. It is a brilliant film, which will really make you look long and hard at us humans...are we really that bad???
Dont be put off by the fact this i animated. It is a brilliant piece on human kind, which really is not aimed at kids (though they will enjoy it along a much more basic premise) ...
