...It is quite impressive) Overall what Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid lack in non scares and writing finesse it makes up for in sheer action and adventure, especially the climax that is a real gas. The racial stereotypes are annoying and unnecessary, 0 characterization and clunky dialogue do hinder it's progress, but I did enjoy this as a switch your brain off and take it all in spectacle, that has a few jumps along the way. Disadvantages: Lacks originality or suprise, each turn of events is as predictable asa ticking clock

Anyone who watches the original film nowadays will notice how outdated the effects are and in this area the sequel has succeeded. The CGI representations of the snake are much scarier and less comical than the originals' props. But good graphics can't save this film from it's sub standard plot line and predictable events, zero to hero fisherman and the deaths of most of the cast are all too familiar in films like this ('deep blue sea' or the third ...
