...films in the same vein, American Pie is a classy movie. It refuses to constantly ridicule the female characters, and in doing so provides a refreshing angle to an oft attempted theme. Try as they might, our four heroes simply cannot seem to lose their virginity, or can they? The picture quality is superb, a 1.85:1 anamorphic transfer which handles everything that the film can throw at it with ease. The soundtrack is also a winner. OK so no explosions, ...
...changed when compared to our American friends. A feature on making the movie, quotes, music videos, bios, trailers and even some dvd-rom material is housed on the disc. ...guess I will go on. American pie may only be for the teens and people under 30 but it is a classic of our time. A wonderful young cast including Mena Suvari and Alyson Hannigan this film will make you laugh from the start until the end. The movie's slow start lulls you into the thought that it will never pick up, never achieve the acclaim the critics lauded upon it. Make a movie about people going into college and wanting to get laided they were told. The result a surprisingly funny movie about the in and outs of sex. My favourite character Jim played by Jason Biggs, he is at the start of the movie setting the scene, he has a sock and doing a quick wrist action. American pie is was quite easily the funniest film that i have seen all year! About 4-5 teenagers wishing to lose their viginity before prom night, this film has all the laughs you will need for a good night in with the popcorn! i would highly reccomend this film to any one who likes comedy and is not easily offended! I didnt see it at the cimema but i bought the video which was "uncut". I don't think the video version is a lot differant to the cimema ...
