I saw this film earlier this year and the thoughts of some of the violent scenes still sickens me now. When Edward Norton kills the guy trying to steal his car you'll see exactly what I mean buy this. there are so many films that try to be like this one and deliver a social message about racism and hatred which do nothing for the cause except disappear up there own backsides, this great film is one exception to the rule. there are some very graphic scenes here (watch out for the teeth on the kerb bit it still makes me cringe) but none of them are deemed unneccessary.
