...it pertrified me. I watched Aliens when I was older. It had a similar effect. In fact I can rewatch the whole Aliens series and still be gripping my seat in total panic. This is when of the best films I ever watched. The story is that half a century after the disaster that happened in Alien(when they first find the Alien species) Ripley gets picked up and brought out of deep sleep. I don't want to ruin the plot but surfice to say that some Colonists ...
...and things start going bad... Other running plots are Ripley's mothering instinct toward 'Newt' Ripley's initail hatred of Bishop (an adroid) due to an incident in Alien. This has to be one of my favourite movies of all time, typical boy I know. But really well done and pretty good story with a nice mix of action in there. The special edition adds an extra 20 odd mins to the movie and definitely adds to the plot rather than detracts or diverts the viewer. ...

This truely is the greatest scifi/action movie ever created. As opposed to most sequals this film is better than the origional. Whereas "Alien" was based on suspense and horror, "Aliens" is more action based. Not to say it does not have any edge of the seat tension as sections literally drip it. The scene is 57 years later and Ripley now returns to the ill fated plannet of the origional. Now it has been colonised, and she is sent in with a detatchment ...

Needless to say what follows is on of the best films of all time, with action sequences you will never forget, and tension building moments that rate as good as any in any thriller/horror movie. The second in the sci-fi thriller series is even better than the first. Directed by James Cameron, the story is that contact is lost with colonists on the planet where the original alien came from. Ripley is sent in with some marines to find out what went wrong, and of course meets up with more aliens. The plot is very good, and is never cheesy in its moments of tension. It never gets boring or goes off track, and the tension is well brought out. ...

Out of all the aliens films this is the best and probably one of the only sequels that is better than the first. It has the quality scare material right at the start because as long as you have seen the first film you know whats coming and the nightmare sequence really puts that across to you in the first five minutes.
