In 1979, the first Alien film was released and was directed by Ridley Scott which was the only film to be directed by him in the Alien Legacy.
The first of what would four of the Alien adventures, saw Ellen Ripley's (Sigourney Weaver) ship Nimstromo heading back to Earth, but on the way home they recieve an SOS call from a planet nearby.
