I count myself as a fan of Ali and get the joke that all he is a piss take on all those white boys who think they're actually cool following the black culture. Hmmmmm a whole film about Ali G? I guess I shouldn’t expect too much in terms of plot then, but is it funny? Respectpa! Ali G is one of Sacha Baron Cohen great creations. Martin Freeman co-stars as one of his possy. Brought up in east Staines Ali longs to be of black descent, but unfortunately isn't. ...I've never really been into Ali G and only went to placate my boyfriend (Sorry A!). But, as we'd planned to go and see a film I agreed that Ali G would be the one (personally, as a primary teacher, Ice Age was more my choice).
