...and getting promoted, who's aeroplane, Air Force One, is hijacked. If you think the plot is over the top wait until you see some of the things Ford has to do to keep his family safe! A little over the top in places, but the film is saved by some suspensful scenes that are well acted and well directed. ...most importantly his plane - Air Force One. There are some great scenes of action along with some blood and great clips of the avionics of the aircraft (probably not real but very realistic). Its not necessarily a film made for plane buffs but it keep me hooked. Air force one sees Harisson Ford as the president of the united states of america who takes matters inot his own ahnds wehn a bunch of terrorists take over Air Force One. The entire security force are killed in the process and Harisson ends up playing cat and mouse with the terrorists trying not to get killed. And there is a character that seemingly has no motive that is never wrapped up that bothered those around me. But that's nitpicking.
