50 First dates is a feel-good film. It falls into the RomCom genre but this shouldn't put any guys off watching this. This is a film that my missus has been waiting to see for ages so in an effort to win some brownie points (not that I need any of course) I added this to my Blockbuster list. Sure enough it is one of the first films I was sent, much to my girlfriends delight. I'll admit straight away that for one reason or another I'm not a massive fan of Adam Sandler. I've found his portrayal of characters in some films a little over the top and annoying (the stupid voices in 'The Water Boy' and 'Little Nicky' for example).
