It's about a geek who comes home from a hard days work to his apartment filled with dolls he collects, he then plays games etc untill his 'so called' mates from work find out he's a virgin.
Steve Carell who plays the virgin is funny in what ever he does, but if you are a fan of him this is a must.
It has some good jokes in there and reminds me of an American Pie ...

...Can anyone really be 40 and a virgin. The film explores the reasons why one man is 40 and has never had sex. How his friends try and help him overcome this hurdle. Do they succeed/fail you have to watch it.
Some jokes are OTT but take it light hearted. A true comedy not to be missed. The lead guy just totally looks like a virgin. It shows how he ends up a winner out of a situation that he ended up in and he learns himself.

Steve Carell plays the 40 year old virgin, in this extremely funny movie. The title of this movie mentions exactly what the movie will revolve on. It is a story of a man who was not very lucky with women. He does not know how to act around them, therefore he did not get a chance to "get lucky" and ended up being 40 years old and a virgin. Of course, the older you get the more intimidated you become about the whole idea of losing it, so the story ... ...the steps he takes in attracting girls in general, then in attracting the one girl he fell in love with and finally moves into showing the problems he faces when about to have sexual intercourse with her. It's a truly funny story and is extremely enetertaining from beginning to end. ...

On the surface, I can't envision too many actors who look the part of a stereotypical 40-year-old virgin better than Carell. (He co-wrote the film with Freaks and Geeks alumn Judd Apatow.) You might even consider his role as the awkward weatherman in Anchorman as a warm-up to this part. Despite being severely handicapped by a lackluster libido, Carell's Andy Stitzer has everything that makes him happy: a great job at an electronics store called Smart ... ...dollars, and a reliable bicycle that gets him to and from work every day.
But Andy's comfortable world is about to get rocked when his co-workers (played by Paul Rudd, Romany Malco, and Seth Rogen) find out he's never had sex. Even though they've barely uttered a word to Andy in the past, suddenly they become his best friends. With an overzealous determination to get him laid, they fill Andy's mind with the crudest and least helpful advice for picking ...
