101 Dalmatians in cartoon form is another Disney film which I had not seen so yet again hubby thought this was bad so we managed to buy it on DVD and last night as there was nothing on the TV again we decided to watch it. The story is of a bachelor and his dog, a dalmatian named Pongo who fells that his master needs a wife, he sets of to the park in search of a beautiful lady and a female dalmatian which he saw walking past and going into the park. ...

...lies the real issue with 101 Dalmatians - it's almost irredeemably NICE - nice is such an unpleasant word, don't you think? It conjures up memories of fluffy puppies and kittens and soap operas with happy endings. YEUCHHHHH!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For those of you who don't know - don't wince there may actually be one or two such lucky souls out there - the Disney version was made as long ago as 1961 and was based on the novel by Dodie Smith. ...

101 dalmations is the cutest kids film that is around by Disney. Everybody knows that the classic Disney films are a lot better than the newly released films! The two bad guys fight to take all the dogs and puppies and give them to their boss Cruella DeVille who wants to make them all into "attractive" fur coats! 101 Dalmations, is about puppies that get kidnapped by an evil woman, and the parents have to rescue them and bring them back home safely. This film is ok, although it can get a boring at times, especially when the puppies have been kidnapped, and they have to get back home. I took my brothers kids to see this film recently and i must say that i enjoyed it. The story is good and it is not too long for the youngest of children. Although i must say I'm having nightmares about Cruella DeVille as she's scary! The original and best childrens film has improved with age and will still be shown in another 30 years time i've no doubt. This is one of the very first films if not the first film I ever saw as a child. I loved it then and I still enjoy it now. It is one of those rare films that stay with you and bring back memories of childhood. This is the original cartoon version and not the hollywood live action re-make (also a great film). I now have children of my own and they all love watching this film and doubtless my first grandchild, due in Jan 2001, will enjoy it too when ...

This is one of the classic cartoons that i have watched and really enjoyed it. Its about two people a young lady and a man who end up meeting all because their dogs are falling in love. So they then both fall in love and they end up living together and the dogs start to have a family. Once these puppies were born anita's (Woman) aunt comes around to the house and starts to try to buy the puppies off them but no matter how much they say no Cruella ...
...lot of puppies so that she can make her self a fur coat made out of dalimations. In the end cruella gets two criminals to come to the house while the family were out and steal all of the puppies, they then do this and manage to get every single one of them. This film will always be a classic no matter what, and I have always loved the film. I think that children who haven't seen this film would love it as they'll take to all of the cute little dalmations and fall in love with them!!!! It has a good storyline, and it is quite emotional eventhough it is an animation. This is a classic Disney film, and let's face it: who doesn't like classic Disney? You can try not to, but it never works because this is before Disney was corrupted by money or girls, or anything else for that matter!
